Hi, I'm Tina!

Welcome to Abundant Family Living. I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a former educator, homeschool mom, writer, author, and creator of Abundant Family Living. This site is where I share faith-filled encouragement, Christian living resources, homeschool and educational ideas, and practical resources designed to encourage families in everyday life.

My Background in Education

I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Since then, my journey in education has taken me through both public and private schools, where I taught students in general education and special-needs classrooms at various grade levels from preschool through 12th grade.

Eventually, I stepped away from the traditional classroom and opened a daycare and preschool in my home. That season allowed me to continue doing what I loved—teaching and caring for children—while also being more present with my own family.

I later homeschooled my youngest daughter, giving me firsthand experience with both classroom education and learning at home.

Those years continue to shape the educational resources I create today. When I share phonics activities, early-learning printables, homeschool ideas, or educational resources, they are influenced by many years of teaching children in a variety of learning environments.

Becoming an Author

Writing was a dream of mine long before I ever became a teacher.

As a child, I dreamed of someday writing a novel. Years later, I finally fulfilled that dream when I published Heartbeat: A Pro-Life Novel.

Becoming a published author was an important milestone for me, but writing has continued to take many forms. Today, much of my writing focuses on Christian faith, encouragement, family life, education, and helping other women and families navigate the different seasons of life.

About Abundant Family Living

Abundant Family Living has evolved over the years, just as my own life has.

Today, my primary focus is creating content and resources around two areas that have been central to much of my life:

Faith and Christian Living — Bible verses, prayer, devotionals, Christian encouragement, and practical ways to trust God and grow in faith.

Homeschool and Learning — early-learning activities, literacy and phonics resources, homeschool ideas, educational printables, and resources for parents and teachers.

You'll occasionally find other topics here because real family life doesn't always fit neatly into categories, but these are the areas you'll see me writing about most often.

Why I Do This

My hope is that Abundant Family Living will be a place where you can find both encouragement for your heart and practical help for your family.

Whether you arrive here looking for a Bible verse during a difficult season, a prayer for your child, an activity to help a beginning reader, a homeschool resource, or simply a little encouragement for the day, I hope you leave with something useful.
