Coloring Through the Bible in Chronological Order

I'm loving my Beautiful Word Coloring Bible.  When I bought it and started coloring the first few pages, I thought it would be good idea to read through the Bible in chronological order as I color the pages.  This has resulted in a much deeper study of the Bible.  I'm taking time to soak it all in rather than speeding through it just to say I did it.  This is going to be a long journey, but it is going to be an awesome journey.  I've always enjoyed coloring.  It was one of my favorite things to do as a child.  I've discovered that I enjoy it as an adult as well.  As I move through the stories, I color the pages, but I also take the time to study the content.  I've started making genealogy charts and other goodies to go along with my journey through these fascinating historical events.

If you think this is something you would like to do, I'm using the Beautiful Word Coloring Bible.  This is the one I have.
I color with Crayola Colored Pencils.  I wouldn't recommend any other brand, at least not now.  I've tried other brands, but they just don't measure up.  Until another company comes up with a better brand (and that will be really hard to do), just stick with Crayola.  Use the pencils, not the markers.  Markers will bleed through the pages.  I use these.

This is really all you need.  You might like to use Bible highlighters in addition to colored pencils.  Dayspring Cards and Gifts offers a lot of Bible journaling tools, but all you really need is a coloring Bible and a pack of colored pencils.
