The following are my Bible study notes based on my pastor's sermon.

God Established Marriage

God Established Marriage: Marriage is a great blessing. Marriage is God Established and Satan has attacked it since Adam and Eve.
God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. – Genesis 1:27
Things That Harm God-Established Marriages:

*Insane schedules. Some parents are too busy chasing their children to chase one another.

*Social media. Too many couples post about it instead of investing in it.

 1.  Where did God-established marriage come from?

God made marriage. He intended for marriage to be between a man and a woman. Marriage is not meant to be broken.
But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” – Mark 10:6-9
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because we are members of His body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. – Ephesians 5:27

2.  Where is marriage going?

Marriage is not a contract but a covenant.

God established marriage here on Earth is a reflection of our spiritual marriage with the Lord. God established earthly marriages help us understand the relationship we are intended to have with God. Jesus is the bridegroom and the Church (those who are saved by grace) is the bride.
Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.” – Revelation 19:7-9

All the academic attributes of this book are great but what I like best is that between the 32 pages of this book, your child will realize the importance of good manners and the value of the family unit.

Bear Country Fun Sticker and Activity Book a Zonderkids book and is intended for children between the ages of 4 and 8.

4 and 5 year old children will likely find some of the activities challenging, like the crosswords and word find puzzles, but there’s still plenty of activities in this book for younger children to enjoy.

If you would like to get his book for your child, you will find it here.
